Environmental, Health & Safety

Louwill Lefa considers the health and safety of people and the environment the most important aspect of its business management. Some of the work we do includes construction management and as such, personnel and equipment safety is of the utmost importance. All projects we undertake are managed in line with our Safety, Health, Enviromental and Quality (SHEQ) Policy. This includes our goal of zero harm to people and the requirement to maintain an effective management system.

Our (SHEQ) Management System provides a framework that is applied to all the projects including the activities of all Sub-Contractors and other Consultants on individual project sites. Our compliance to SHEQ is in line with the requirements of Occupational Health and Safety Act 85 of 1993 and construction regulation promulgated in February 2014 as well as the Mine Health and Safety Act 29 of 1996 as well as ISO 45001 and ISO 14001.
